Seventeen year old Aisha Chaudhary, was born with an Immune deficiency disorder and overcame a predicted life expectancy of only one year. She had a serious lung disease - Pulmonary Fibrosis, but still managed to keep her calm against the heartbreaking challenges life threw her way to become an accomplished artist. Her persistent optimism and vision to never give up on life despite all odds has made her an inspiration to many.
She had shared five important lessons about life that her illness had taught her:
1. Believe in Miracles
2. Live in the Moment
3. Opportunities in Difficulties
4. Dare to Dream
5. Pets are the best medicine
Aisha, ended her speech beautifully with the lines, ‘All things happen twice – once in your mind and once in reality. She also quoted Vance Cheney, "The Soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears."
